Serve Our City 2020

We are excited to partner with you in serving our community for C3's Serve Our City 2020!

Across these 4 days there are opportunities to serve remotely, to serve as groups, families, or as individuals, all focused on showing the love of Jesus to our community. Below is a snapshot of what's happening each day. Click below to sign up for one or multiple serve opportunities. We can't wait to make an impact with you!

NEW THIS YEAR

Serve Your Neighborhood (At Home Option all 4 days) - Pay for someone's coffee. Bake cookies for your neighbor. Inspirational Sidewalk Art. Write letters to residents in the Nursing Home. Check in on your elderly neighbors. Yard work for neighbors. Pay for someone's groceries. Be sure to tag @myc3.church in your photos and hashtag #serveourcity

THURSDAY, JULY 30

Volunteer Hub - Throughout the day, we will prep for volunteers as we gather all the needed supplies and have them ready for pickup. You will also help serve the volunteers lunch and dinner.
Random Acts of Kindness - Join us as we come together to go out into our local city to perform random acts of kindness.
Prep Invites for Saturday's Movie on the Lawn Event - All work will be happening inside the church.
Canal Winchester Human Services - CWHS needs help with some tasks around the Food Pantry and Senior Center, including yard work and miscellaneous projects inside and outside.
Out of Darkness Project at the Parsons House - OOD needs help with some tasks around the Drop In Center, including yard work and miscellaneous projects inside and outside.
Canvas for Movie on the Lawn Invites - Come prepared with smiles and lots of energy as we invite our local neighbors to an amazing church event.

FRIDAY, JULY 31

Volunteer Hub - Throughout the day, we will prep for volunteers as we gather all the needed supplies and have them ready for pickup. You will also help serve the volunteers lunch and dinner.
Random Acts of Kindness - Join us as we come together to go out into our local city to perform random acts of kindness.
Neighbor Project - Help a local neighbor with some yard work along with power washing the outside of their house.
Stowe Mission Project - There are various projects that need done within their facility.
Canal Winchester Joint Recreation Department (CWJRD) - They need volunteers to help with their first ever Camp Out being held at Jackson Lake. They need help setting up activities for the kids and possibly serving dinner.
CW Parks & Recreation - Help with painting fences.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 1

Volunteer Hub - Throughout the day, we will prep for volunteers as we gather all the needed supplies and have them ready for pickup. You will also help serve the volunteers breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
CWJRD Camp Out - Day 2 will consist of helping serve the kids a pancake breakfast and morning activities for the families who camped overnight.
Out of Darkness Safe House - Help with a small renovation project at their Safe House.
Neighbor Project - Help local elderly neighbors with their yard work and any minor projects they may have around their yard.
Pickerington Parks and Rec - Fence / Sign Painting
C3 Movie On The Lawn - Come prepared to bring the energy! Once guests arrive, you will help hand out glow sticks, popcorn, hotdogs etc.
