C3 Response: COVID-19 Update
Update: July 11, 2020
C3 Church Family,
Today we received notification from a member of our church that they attended our July 5th, 9am service and have since tested positive for COVID-19. As a precautionary measure, we are informing you and per the CDC guidelines, we recommend that you self-monitor for symptoms as the health and safety of our congregation is our foremost priority. We will remain open this Sunday and continue to monitor to keep you informed.
We’d like to take this time to remind everyone of the safety precautions we’re taking, and the additional protocols we’re doing before/after service and during the week to enable us to continue to worship together.
Additionally, we will continue adhering to the following precautions, as established by the CDC Interim Guidance for Communities of Faith.
Symptoms & Close Contact Exposure
If you have a fever and/or are experiencing other symptoms of COVID-19, or if you have been exposed to someone who has or is suspected of having COVID-19, you should speak with your doctor.
Positive Tests
If you test positive, please alert Julie Place, our Central Operations Director and she will work with you to develop a list of names that you believe you may have exposed to the virus through close contact. We will alert the close contacts of their possible exposure.
If you have questions about COVID-19 or your situation, please call your doctor and refer to the CDC website.
We do realize these are difficult and uncertain times we are in right now. Through these uncharted times, our mission has not changed. We are focused on loving people to a growing relationship with Jesus, so that All of Columbus Would Know Him.

- We have spaced all assigned seating more than six feet apart. Remember that it is mandatory at a Level 3 that masks be worn by anyone (other than those with health reasons) when standing or sitting within 6 feet of another person for greater than 15 minutes.
- Masks are available for your use, please grab one as you enter the building if you don’t have one.
- Cleaning/Disinfecting:
- Before/After each service along with during the week, we are using a sprayer that contains a food grade disinfectant that kills the virus throughout the sanctuary on walls, chairs and surfaces that dries within 10 mins.
- High touch surfaces (doors, doorknobs, counter tops, etc.) are disinfected and cleaned throughout the building daily.
- Instruments, microphones and electronics are sanitized..
- Bathrooms, flooring and rooms have been deep cleaned.
- Hand soap, sanitizer, gloves and cleaning supplies are available for your use upon your arrival to the church. Everyone should use a wipe to clean their hands upon entering the building and regularly wash/sanitize their hands throughout the day.
Additionally, we will continue adhering to the following precautions, as established by the CDC Interim Guidance for Communities of Faith.
